Friday Night Football

I love going to football games with my husband. He strings (writes part time) for a few papers and covers all the Brownstown games, and luckily they asked me to shoot the Brownstown/Seymour game. I still like covering games with him-I get the photo credit and his name is on the biline. Pretty cool. Plus, this rivalry goes wwwaaayyyy back and I was glad to see it all go down. I am only sorry it didn't go a little better for Seymour-my alma mater!
The weather was perfect, the crowds were riled up, and the players were primed for the big game. So, they are a bit late, but I thought I would post a few.

What a night for football!!! It was cool, breezy and so awesome outside.

The next image was the one that fit the picture caption in the Banner---this kid can run! When you can't go through...just go OVER!

This next one is near the end of the game when the long pass is almost tipped away, and a split second later was caught by Seymour's #15 for a touchdown. A great play.

All eyes on the quarterback as he lauches a long pass downfield. The stands were packed and the energy was captivating. What a great sport.

I was able to get on top of the scorer's box for a little while. The view is really amazing. The Seymour guy broke up the middle for a 24 yard run (it pays to be married to a guy that recorded all the stats for the night-it really sounds like I know what I am talking about, doesn't it?! :) )

I like shooting different types of events-it keeps me on my toes and creative, trying to make all the adjustments needed.
Thanks for visiting!
Cheers!

Sounds like you had a little to much fun. Do you want to come to Cincy and shoot Joe putting together the Senior Homecomming float for Mariemont HS this weekend. There could be some funny shots.
