Ok, well, really, it is not MY billboard, but one of my images made it onto one!!! I am thrilled that a bank in a neighboring county decided to use several of my images in it's new marketing campaign. They chose this shot as their billboard-one of my favorite shots of all time.
My mom, Gram and I rode over last Sunday to see it and visiting with them and having them along made it special. They were excited for me, which made it all that more fun! We could see it pretty far up the highway on a curve and it was really a cool sight to see. Something I made on a billboard!!!!! The image of the kids we estimated to be about 7 feet square, so looking at it was awesome. All photographers like to see their work in print, and this officially is the biggest print of mine to date!
So, anyway, I love my mom dearly, but she is not the most technically savvy gal I know. She will admit that to you. So I am especially impressed with this shot she got of me jumping and pointing in front of that sign. Wow! Never mind that I had previously crossed the highway 3 times to push various buttons she kept pushing by mistake......on my point and shoot!! ;) Nevertheless, she got this great shot for me-great job to you Mom! And thanks to you and Gram for really making my day with this adventure. It is a great memory for me and I am happy to have shared it with you.
