The Thomas family

I have known Diana since we worked together one summer years ago. Her sunny personality and constant smile made the time pass quickly as we worked the days away. Her then fiance, Jim would stop in to pick her up when her shift was over and it was a guarantee he would make a funny remark of some kind. He made her smile every time. Diana and I talked lots about her wedding plans-the details, the dress...all those things that matter to a girl in love. That was years ago.
Today I had the pleasure of photographing Jim, Di, and their two kids. I had to laugh, because their kids are just like them- chatty, quick witted, and very smiley. They are truly a darling family.
I am truly honored because on Tuesday, Jim will be hospitalized for three weeks for a stem cell transplant. His cancer was not cured with radiation or chemotherapy, so he is taking this next step. Please keep him and his family in your prayers and they go through this process.
The lovely Lady Di and her funny guy, Jim:

The fam!

The have this darling Shih Tzu, CeeCee. She barely weighs 3 pounds, but she commands the attention of everyone. I swear she could fit in Jim's pocket.

Man, my best wishes and thoughts go out to you. I admire your attitude, bravery, and grace as you face this daunting task ahead. May your spirit, faith and hardy sense of humor see you and your family through this. Take care! And don't forget to call me when your hospital stay is over so you can photograph MY family! ;)

You can visit Jim's blog to catch the updates.
Thanks for visiting!
Cheers!
