Brown School, Two Foot & Ryan Newman

The elementary school where I teach celebrated the culmination of the reading program with a big bang! The group shot below shows all 362 kids and staff members in their celebration shirts- AND none other than Two Foot Fred! I am on the left side about the 5th black shirt back. Don't they look great?!?

With the help of Two Foot Fred-the man of endless connections,(my cousin who frequently tours with Big n Rich), we were able to make connections with Ryan Newman-driver of the Nascar Alltel Dodge-his wife Krissie, and their foundation. They sent signed hats, pictures and die cast cars as prizes for top readers. The kids had an absolute ball! The two top classrooms (on of which was mine- woohooo!) had a 20 minute conference call with Ryan! Talking to him live was a real treat for everyone.

Here Two Foot "supervises" the snack table! The kids loved meeting him.
