Beautiful mom to be

It is always a bit unsettling to do a shoot for another photographer. Emilee and I have photographed several weddings together, but it was great turning the camera on her. With folks this natural, it was no problem. Emilee and Justin are due with their first baby next month, and I had just a fabulous time during the maternity shoot. Justin was very helpful at posing indeed. If he ever quits his day job, I will definately have a spot for him! Doesn't she look just stunning in this one?! Wow, I just really adore this shot of her! Glam mom!

You really have to love natural light:



They are quite sure it is going to be a girl, so they brought along some darling little shoes. This shot really shows them off. Probably my other favorite of the shoot!

I promised Justin I wouldn't tell the guys just how great he was at "cuddling in" for the shots, so if you are a guy friend of Justin's, stop reading now, because he was a natural at it! I gave him very few directions-he was just instinctive about getting close to his wife and baby. It really was sweet to see the affection between the two of them. This is really going to be a lucky baby! There is alot of love in this home.


Justin and Emilee, thanks so much for letting me journal this special time in your life. I really enjoyed spending the time with you and wish you all the best! I can't wait to see that baby girl.
