Generally speaking, newborn sessions always take longer to shoot than most types. During the majority of the ones I have done-no matter how calculated and careful the parents have been during the preparation, babies always need to burp, pee, cry, poop, and sleep during a photo session. I don't mind the extra time, because I love visiting with the parents and chatting about those beginning times...things I truly cherish about being a mom. I fondly and vividly remember swaddling my newborn babies-the softness, smells and cries. I wouldn't trade a moment.
I don't believe these folks would either.

This cutie showed up asleep, so we just made adjustments to fit what he was doing.

When he woke up, he was very pleasant; although this expression seems to say:
"Are you kidding me?!"

Unbelieveable that this little guy was just two weeks old!!!! He held himself very well.
But, he 'rolled with it' and seemed 'down with it' and 'all that' and near the end gave us the sign for
"PEACE OUT!"

The things I never thought I would see.....or say. Ha!

Thanks for a wonderful visit!
Thanks for visiting!
