Bud and Julie

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Julie and Bud. They are a fabulous couple and just endeared me with their relaxed attitude and wonderful sense of style. The event was held at the beautiful Ritz Charles in Carmel. I have done two other weddings here, and am always impressed at the simple grace of the location. Julie's details added to the elegance.

The sky clouded over for most of the afternoon, but good karma must go a long way, because just before the ceremony ended, the clouds parted and a gorgeous sunset appeared! We grabbed a few outdoor shots before we lost the yummy evening light:

The reception details were just as lovely- a classy and perfectly aligned cake. Each guest received a heart shaped cork stopper as a table favor!

Each piece of cake was served with chocolate covered strawberries...dreamy! (This is such a rouch job, but it has some great perks!)

The bride and groom caught a moment to themselves here before they were off to the reception. They were just darling together and I had a lovely time sharing their day.
