Miss Paisleigh

A few folks have asked about my seasonal retirement-and congratulate me for taking the season off. To be clear, I still have plenty to do...I am finishing up the 3 weddings from September and have 2 more weddings in November and have several folks already scheduled, so it is not a total retirement. I plan on resuming bookings in January. I just didn't want to overbook the fall as I have been known to do (accidentally?!). That way my son won't disown me and can try to score soccer goals on me in the afternoons. I still have plenty to keep my hopping!
Miss Paisleigh made a 9 month visit recently and was just as beautiful as ever. She wasn't quite as smiley as before (it turns out she became very sick the next day), but still stunning. Those cheeks and eyes are sure to turn heads. Watch out, mom and dad!

Cuddling up with mom...this is one of those pictures that makes me just stop and think about how great life is and how wonderful it is to be a mom. I can't think of much more rewarding than hugging and kissing on your baby. Love it!

She was doing really well at standing the day she was here- even pushing up from a squat to standing. Impressive! Walking is not far behind...the world is soon to be hers! She is already scheduled for her 1 year pics in November-I can't wait. She will be a bit of a moving target, so I told her mom to wear her running shoes! Watching her tear into a cake will be a groovy time. I am really looking forward to it.

My daughter often shoots my second camera when folks are here- they usually order a few from the pictures she takes! She got this close up, and I thought it really showed off her eyes. Great job, girl!
