10,000 thank yous

The Regruth Imagery website reached a tremendous benchmark on July 4th- an official 10,000 visits to the site!!! 10,000!!!!!!!! Seriously!! After launching the site on 2.4.06, I have been richly blessed to reach such a milestone. I couldn't have dreamed it any better than the way it has happened. It is really a humbling feeling to do something I love and share it for others to enjoy. I am very incredibly grateful to the good Lord up above for the talent and opportunity to accomplish this.
I want to thank my husband, John, who built this beautiful site and has encouraged me every single step of the way. I can't count the number of times he has occupied the kids, carried benches, helped move things and walked around equipment. He has thoroughly answered countless questions about computers, layouts, uploading, and even opinions on photos (he really has a great eye!). He has seen me travel to L.A., Orlando, and West Palm Beach(twice) for workshops and training-a week at a time- and kept the kids fed, clothed and happy. His unbelieveable patience and encouragement have made it possible for me to grow. I know I couldn't have gotten here without you! Thanks, Honey. I am lucky to be married to you. ;)
And to my kids -who carry things, use the lint remover on the backdrop, sit in for all the test shots before clients arrive, sing your songs to make babies smile, and keep folks entertained. You make wonderful assistants!
To my clients-each one of you is important to me. Being a mom, teacher, and photographer sometimes doesn't leave the time I would like, but believe that I am grateful to each of you and your choice in my work. I often think like a mom when I get ready to take pictures and think about what I would like during a photo session. Then I try to do just that. I appreciate your support and patience. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship.
To my fellow photographers who have shared methods, hints, stories, workflow processes, battles and victories. Thank you for answering any crazy thing I have asked. I always love finding out where you have been and where you are going. I love soaking up whatever I can and sharing whatever is helpful to others.
I would be remiss to not thank one special friend/client. I often joke that if I paid her a referral fee for each person she has sent to me, SHE would be taking money from ME. She has been there since day one and backed me all the way! Everyone needs a cheerleader, supporter and friend, and I surely have all those things in her. I am lucky to have her in my corner. She may officially get the award for the most photographs taken of a single family! ;) Thanks, Bridge, for all of it. I simply could not have gotten to where I am without your friendship and networking.
So, 10,000 thank yous go out from me to the visitors of this site. I have loved watching how the photographs on the site have progressed over the last 17 months...and can't wait to see where they go from here. I feel like there is still room to grow and the best is yet to come! So keep checking! Hugs to all!
