The Joy of Love

I have vivid memories of the first time I met Alli and Robbie in the coffee shop. From the moment they walked in, they just never stopped smiling-at me, or each other. There was just an infectious joy about them that was so evident. We sat and I listened to the story about how they met-the 'first date' in a truck hauling pigs and how they were so different, but how they just seemed to fit. And how they then couldn't be without each other. I loved their stories and watching them tell them together-finishing each other's sentences and giggling their way through. And I clearly remember leaving that evening with a joyous feeling myself. It's funny how that can be so contagious. I would like to thank them for that.

Needless to say, spending time with them during their engagement shoot was just as much fun. They were truly just full of joy hanging out together. One of them would say something to set the other laughing and darling moments like this one would just happen between them. It made my job terribly easy!

I have thought several times about the story of their engagement in Tahoe how wonderful it must have been for them, but I am sure it wouldn't have mattered when or where she got the ring from him. They just want to be together.

I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding in August, visiting the farm and spending more time feeling the joy of love when they are together. Let the smiling and laughter begin!
Thanks for visiting!
Cheers!
