Doing something new

You know how doing one thing often leads to another- sometimes even to something you may not have thought about? Recently I was asked (and honored) to take photos of the Columbus Philharmonic during an educational concert on Ellis Island. The spirit of this spring morning was very moving, as was the beautiful music! I absolutely love live music- of all different types- but this orchestra was just incredible. Actors told stories as though they had all traveled through Ellis Island. Each was story different and just amazing. And anything set to musics heightens the emotion.

One of the musicians stood and let the children get a closer view...they loved it.
In this very last one, if you look very closely, you can see my reflection in this French horn! To be able stand in the midst of these talented musicians and let myself be moved to another place for the morning was something I won't forget! Unbelieveably wonderful music!
I am so grateful for the opportunity and hope to give it another go at some point. Thanks to Miss Vanessa! Keep up the great work enriching the lives of those who hear you...
Thanks for visiting!
Cheers!
